Elimu Mwangaza recently attended a workshop in Tanga on improving Civil Society Organization’s (CSOs) internal governance and compliance with the laws and policies of the country. The workshop was organized by the Tanzania Human Rights Defenders (THRD) with the financial support of the Foundation for Civil Society (FCS) in Tanzania.
The organization was represented by Michael Reuben Ntibikema, the Executive Director, and the workshop was officiated by Hon. Seleman Jafo, the Minister. The workshop was held from October 13th to 14th, 2018 in Tanga. Hon. Selemani Jafo emphasized the collaboration between CSOs and the government and called upon all CSOs in Tanzania to comply to the laws of the country. One of the key results was an increased understanding of the different laws and policies that govern CSOs in Tanzania.
